The Philosophy: When Art Meets the Wetland
The islet of Agios Achillios has always been a source of inspiration, but for Dana Paraskevopoulou, it is her very home. Having grown up here and having fought since childhood to promote and connect the island, her profound relationship with the Small Prespa Lake is strongly reflected in every artistic endeavor.
As a Fine Arts graduate, she leaves her own unique creative mark on the venue. The philosophy of the Art Gallery is rooted in the idea that art should not be confined to impersonal galleries, but should breathe freely. For this reason, the materials, forms, and colors chosen are always in full, respectful harmony with the sensitive environment of the National Park.
Symposiums and Exhibits by the Lake
The love for creation does not stop at personal artworks. Our venue hosts exceptional painting and sculpture symposiums, attracting artists and art lovers who wish to be inspired by the incomparable energy of the lakes.
Visitors have the opportunity to navigate a unique aesthetic experience:
-
In our spacious courtyard, right next to the calm waters of the lake, you can admire imposing sculptures standing proudly in the natural light, in dialogue with the reed beds.
-
Indoors, carefully selected paintings are exhibited, adding a warm, artistic atmosphere while you enjoy your meal or coffee.
